Mabel’s Garden Online Workshop

Ever wanted to try miniature patchwork but not sure where to start? Interested in adding beautiful embroidered details to your quilts but not sure how? Then this is the workshop for you!

Through a series of detailed video lessons, I walk you through each step to create your own beautiful version of my Mabel’s Garden design.

Mabel’s Garden is a beautiful hexagonal patchwork design, inspired by the traditional Grandmother’s flower garden quilt design, and my own Grandmother, Mabel. This has been my most popular design and I have welcomed many people to my studio to stitch it. Now you can join me from the comfort of your own home.

A quilt made of hexagonal fabric patches with floral patterns, stitched together with embroidered pink and green flowers and leaves, on a light background.

Taught by me, Emma Jones!

A passionate hand stitcher, I have been sewing since I was 5 years old. I am also a fully qualified primary school teacher, so when you take one of my classes, you get years of sewing experience combined with a passion for teaching. I teach patchwork yearly at the Festival of Quilts, Europe's biggest quilting show, as well as host a Youtube channel through which I have honed my video skills over the years.
