Happy Memories Quilt
There is something rather special about a quilt made slowly, stitch by stitch, with beautiful fabrics, treasured embroidery and a little love sewn into every seam.
I am delighted to introduce my brand new:
2027 Block of the Month – The Happy Memories Quilt.
Inspired by the charm and nostalgia of the 1930s and 1940s, this very special quilt is a celebration of all things vintage. Think pretty florals, gentle nature inspired prints, colourful patchwork and those wonderfully nostalgic embroidery designs that feel as though they have been lifted straight from a vintage sewing box!
Over the course of 12 months, you will create a beautiful heirloom lap quilt, entirely by hand, using the quilt-as-you-go method. Not only will the front be a delight of patchwork and embroidery, but the reverse will be just as lovely, featuring its own colourful patchwork design. Two beautiful quilts in one!
Special Embroidered Hexagons
At the heart of the Happy Memories Quilt are a collection of specially designed embroidered hexagons.
Inspired by traditional embroidery patterns from the 1930s and 1940s, these exclusive designs have been created especially for this quilt. Each one brings its own little touch of vintage charm, creating a wonderful collection of nostalgic motifs that will make your finished quilt truly unique. Each month there will be step by step videos of me showing you how to embroider the designs. You’ll learn new embroidery stitches and techniques and create a piece that is truly special.
Finished quilt measures approximately 44” x 52” This is a mock up of the final quilt design, the white hexagons are the embroidered ones, the designs will be kept secret until they release each month.

New blocks each month
Instructions land on the first Monday of each month starting in January 2027, with a video tutorial walking you through each step.

Stitch at your own pace
Access to the patterns and videos is indefinite, meaning you can take all the time you need to enjoy your project.
How to join
For a one-off payment of £36, you will receive access to the digital patterns and instructional videos for the project. Then, each month for 12 months, you will receive the embroidery patterns and detailed videos to guide you through each month's stitching.
A lovely option if you enjoy choosing your own fabrics and gathering together your favourite threads and sewing treasures.
